Home to a private hillfort, a wildflower meadow, a growing woodland and plenty of flower, fauna, fungi and wildlife diversity – it’s a wonderful place to leave the stresses of modern living and reconnect with nature. With plenty of space, stunning views and a few home comforts added in too. All activities are run by experienced and qualified guides.
You’re invited to a nature-inspired space to rest, recharge and reconnect on and off the yoga mat. With beginner-friendly group and solo activities, there are plenty of moments in the stunning countryside to learn the principles of mindfulness and bodyfulness for the benefits of mental health.
Do as little or as much as you like over the weekend. Take advantage of a hammock, campfire, starry skies, peace and quiet.

Each bell tent sleeps 3 people and has its own log burner, camp kitchen, compost toilets and eating area. You can book a tent out for yourself and your party otherwise you will be sharing with other women from the retreat.
It sleeps 2 people cosily and comes with a log burner, private compost loo, shower, kitchen cabin, seating area and fire pit. This option can be booked as sole or shared occupancy.
No. You do as much or as little as you like. All activities are included but always optional. You’re welcome to bring books and crafts should you want some time on your own doing the things you love most. Use it as your own private meditation retreat if you wish.
You will be sent a kit list of everything you’ll need but there’s nothing fancy or expensive required. Most of it you’ll have at home.
Yoga sessions are taught in the style of hatha yoga due to its slow and gentle nature. Perfect for all abilities but especially beginners.
All food provided will be plant-based. Please list all of your intolerances at the time of booking.
Most do come along and make friends during but you’re welcome to bring friends along too. All retreats are structured so that you get plenty of alone and group time as needed.
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking and the final balance is due 6 weeks before the event. You’ll be given instructions on how to pay at the time of bookings.
If the retreat doesn’t go ahead due to the host, venue or government guidelines then you’ll be given the option of a refund and/or a new date to rebook. In all other cases, no refunds are given unless we’re provided with 30 days notice or special circumstances such as ill-health, bereavement or a change in circumstances.
Neither does Chelsea – you’re in good company and it’s better for the planet! There will be a potential opportunity for lift shares so please mention this at the time of booking.
Loving Life in Wellies operates in and around Wales. Most of the retreats and activities are around North East and North Wales where the founder lives and knows well. However, we’ll be going down south wales for our summer celebrations!
