What is a wellness retreat

& why it's right for you?

My wellness retreats are set in an eco-friendly space where you can get back to basics with the landscape and yourself.   These rural retreats use slow-living principles to help you to make better decisions, develop more profound experiences, and provide you with the tools such as breath work, mindful movement, seasonal eating and nature therapy to reduce and manage chronic pain,  stress, anxiety, fatigue and burnout.

A women's retreat for slowing down.

Co-create moments that nurture your whole being: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When you feel in alignment, you’re open to wonder and possibilities.

My yoga retreats are so much more than physically ‘doing’; instead, they embody the true essence of yoga by creating space for stillness, education, community and connection.

Glamping, North Wales

Located at the edge of Snowdonia National Park, the private glamping accommodation and amenities are run on solar, gas and fire to be kind to the landscape as possible.  The venue is home to many rewilding projects focused on giving back to the land.

Activities

We’ve paddle boarded on the Llangollen Canal, swam in the majestic River Dee and Llyn Tegid,  explored the ancient Caer Drewyn, meditated on the surrounding hills and enjoyed yoga classes in the great outdoors,

For 2023, we’ve got a few NEW activities!

What's the retreat food like?

Our wild wellness retreats are self-catered to allow you the freedom to eat what and when you like. After all, with a variety of skillets and dutch ovens, gas cookers and campfires – you can be as creative as you like. There are also gift basket options on request with local and ethical cheese, milk and egg produces.

Two meals are included during your weekend retreat – sometimes buffets, BBQs, sit-down dinners or picnics. It’s essential that food is plant-based, local, with limited transport miles and packaging, and professionally made by our friend Eleri Eats based in Llangollen who caters for all allergies and intolerances.
